Acid Ghost - Going Home (Again) // When the Sun Rises

Some Assembly Required - Tim Murphy

Vincent van Gogh. Irises. 1889.

If you want bluebirds, first you have to make
a proper house. Start with six scraps of shake,
unpainted cedar shingles, blizzard–worn,
torn from the hiproof of your windfall barn.
Slant–saw the sides to make the ceiling vaulted.
(Here in Montana big sky's are exalted.)
Then drill a door hole too snug for a flicker
to burgle when you're famished fledglings bicker.
Now choose a meadow with a montane view.
For camouflage, it's flowers should be blue.
